MindWise has a lengthy experience of success in working with mental health service commissioners such as Healthcare Trusts to jointly devise and develop community-based support services for those affected by severe mental illness and other mental health difficulties that deliver effective and quantifiable outcomes.

MindWise also has access through past experience, research and knowledge to a number of models of mental health service delivery that it is willing to utilise and share when working with commissioners of mental health services.

MindWise is also firmly committed to the principle of partnership working both with commissioners or services and other statutory and voluntary agencies to develop models of service delivery that will best utilise individual organisations knowledge and experience to ensure the most appropriate models of service delivery. An example of this would be the very successful partnership between MindWise and NUS-USI to deliver the ‘Open Your Mind’ programme which has been financed by the Big Lottery Fund and with the objective of raising awareness of mental illness and challenging stigma and discrimination across the third-level education sector in Northern Ireland.
