MindWise is a charity, and like any other charity we rely on the goodwill and financial support of local people to help fund both our existing services and to allow up to develop and pilot new ones.

There are many ways in which an individual or group or company can help to financially support the work of MindWise including:

Make a Donation

An individual, group or company can make a financial donation to help fund our services by sending a cheque made payable to MindWise to our Head Office

Make a Donation for a MindWise Supporter Badge

Our MindWise supporter badge is available in two formats and is a way in which anyone who wants to can show their support for either our work or the cause of mental illness. We normally ask for a ‘suggested donation’ of £2 for each badge (along with a small charge to cover postage if appropriate). You may like to take a single badge or some of our supporters request a number of badges which they can in turn give out to others at special occasions such as birthdays or Christmas, some of our supporters have even used our badges as Wedding Favours.

Donate Items to the MindWise Charity Shops

MindWise operates two charity shops, one in the Workspace Centre, Rainey Street, Magherafelt (called New Style Furniture) and one in Rathfriland Street, Banbridge. Both of our shops are always looking for donations of good quality items to sell in the shops including; books, DVDs, clothing, bric-a-brac and toys. New Style Furniture also takes donations of good quality furniture items. Both shops as well as helping to raise income to fund MindWise services also offer a vital opportunity for individuals to volunteer in the shops to develop their confidence and employment skills. You can take your donation to either of the two shops at anytime between 10.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, or if you would like to donate an item of furniture to New Style Furniture in Magherafelt and you need to arrange for it to be collected, please telephone them to arrange collection on 028 7963 4834.
