MindWise currently offers services operating from locations throughout the province (see the Contact MindWise Services section of the site for details of specific service locations). MindWise Housing ServicesSafe and affordable housing is fundamental to everyone’s well-being, research shows that many people with mental illness are struggling to live independently resulting in a ‘revolving door’ of tenancy failure, hospitalisation and homelessness. MindWise has developed a housing continuum reflecting the ‘Stepped Care’ Service model from hospital to independent living. Currently we operate three Stepped Care: Level 3 High Support Housing Services in Fortwilliam, Antrim and Carrickfergus. These schemes give individual tenants the benefit of their own home for as long as they need it whilst still retaining the support of 24-hour staffing support. MindWise also operates Stepped Care: Level 2 Medium Support Housing Services in Skegoneill, Carrickfergus, Antrim, Banbridge and Kilkeel where support is offered on a structured daytime basis based on individual support plans backed up by a 24-hour on call support for the tenants.
