Our Charity Partner Agnew Group are raising vital funds for our innovative Beyond Bricks programme

MindWise Charity Partner, Agnew Group, raised an incredible £40,000 to support our work during the pandemic. Our partnership continues in 2022, with in-person fundraising events back on the menu. 

Agnew employees are raising vital funds to support our groundbreaking Beyond Bricks and youth mental health programmes.  Amy Stothers, Children and Young People Programme Lead, met with staff in Agnew Belfast to showcase how our Beyond Bricks programme will equip P6 and P7s with a personalised emotional wellbeing toolkit to help them navigate their future with confidence. This is a charity partnership which will deliver lasting benefits to the next generation. 

Massive thank you to Agnew Group employees for their fantastic fundraising efforts, including Agnew Volkswagen Belfast and Mallusk whipping up a delicious array of sweet treats that raised a brilliant £600!

Going Beyond Bricks

Schools across Belfast are already benefitting from the Beyond Bricks programme, including Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, below. We have been watching the children get completely engrossed in their Lego play, learn about 5 key areas of their mental health and they have even started building their very own personalised emotional wellbeing toolkits to use now and in the future.

We have loved every minute of watching these children learn about themselves all whilst getting to play with Lego! Their smiles and laughter have been completely infectious. All of us at MindWise are buzzing with excitement and so proud of those involved in the Beyond Bricks programme.
