Client engagement means working together to put the client's voice at the heart of our organisation. We strive to collaborate with our clients rather than simply doing things for them or onto them. By focusing on making decisions together and combining everyone's strengths, we can create positive change and improve our services.
The overall purpose of client engagement is to shift the balance of power, drawing on people’s first-hand, lived experiences to create new and better services. It’s to make sure that we make good and informed decisions because we listen to our clients and work together to make decisions, write policies and develop our work. We want to make decisions together - combining everyone’s strengths so that we can create positive change.
